How is Maycember going for anyone with kids or grandkids in school right now? We're wrapping up the year with school concerts, projects, volleyball and lacrosse tournaments, all the "lasts" for Logan (he's graduating next week!) and it's such a whirlwind! I'm looking forward to the lazy days of summer.
What I'm Watching
Have you heard of the author Sarah M Eden? She writes cute little "proper romance" series that are clean and wholesome. I read her Lancaster Family series years ago and was so tickled to see the independent film adaptation of the first book, Seeking Persephone! This was a fun (short) binge that I will watch over and over!
What I'm Reading
I'm a sucker for clean historical romance novels (as you can tell from above). Right now I am listening to Edenbrooke (borrowed it from my library via the Libby app!). I love the narrator and the story is fun and lighthearted and sweet. I look forward to listening as I get ready for bed at night!
What I'm Buying
These cute little pants are oh so comfortable, but they look cute enough that I'd run to the store in them. Nice big pockets, drawstring elastic waistband, and just the perfect cropped length! I ordered a small but could have managed an extra small. They are very roomy! Pair them with a t-shirt or sweatshirt, flops or sneakers!
What I'm Air Frying
This week I whipped up a freezer meal that my son and his wife made for me. It was a yummy mix of chicken, spices, peppers, onions, and I cooked it in the slow cooker, then shredded it up and put it in tortillas to make chicken enchiladas in the air fryer! YUM YUM! So much faster and easier than the oven! I made a similar recipe in this video.
What I'm Loving
Last year someone I follow on Instagram shared this neck cream and I have to tell you IT WORKS! I put it on my neck every single night and then put the remaining on the tops of my hands and this is one I buy on repeat! It has over 10,000 reviews. It is a little pricey ($30ish) but lasts a long time!
