What I'm Loving This Week: My Grandma Era

Our first week of summer was so fun, in large part due to the fact that my daughter Megan is here to visit for the week and she has her 2 year old daughter and 2 month old daughter with her! (ps - I am called "Grammy"). I have some fun things to share with you below!

My Grandma Era

Being Grammy is a joy! My 2 year old granddaughter met her 5 month old cousin in real life (enjoy the "first look" picture!) And she also took a special trip to the "great-grandpas" house to see the cow (it was quite the adventure - she wasn't a fan!). It's been so much fun!

A Purchase I'm Tickled About

These collapsible strainers are awesome... then you add the cute little draining base... WOW I'm sold! I wasn't sure if I'd use it, but EVERYONE in the house is enjoying it! From Livvy's Mac & Cheese making, to Mal washing fruits and veggies, it's a purchase I'm so glad I made... and it saves so much space and honestly, I am delighted whenever I use it!

What I'm Air Frying

With a 2 year old granddaughter, we were air frying a lot of chicken nuggets! The "Just Bare" brand from the Costco freezer aisle is a favorite of ours. I also got wild and crazy and purchased some Chick-fil-A sauce from Costco! 380F/190C for about 9 min does the trick! My air fryer cheat sheet includes things like this by the way!

What I'm Watching

So many have been telling me about The Traitors, so Haley and I binged season one on Peacock. We like to play a game called The Resistance (you may know it as Mafia), and it reminds me a bit like that... mingled with Survivor type challenges. It was a fun binge! It is rated M (although they bleep out the worst cuss words so it's really M for the fact that it's a reality show with people lying in the game, trying not to be caught as "the traitor").

This is a Good Deal!

I discovered this washing machine cleaner last year and this week as I was throwing it in the drum, I thought this would be a good hack to share with you! I am always so pleased with it when I use it! Other name brands I've used in the past smell terrible and are expensive. This is $.83 for a load, and since we still have 5 of us in the house, we are running the washing machine a lot! The first box I purchased is still in use!

HAPPY June! This is my favorite time of year (even if my air conditioner is currently broken!)

Have a wonderful week! xoxo
